BANGKOK – Like the Singaporeans who throng sprawling Chatuchak Market, upscale shopping district Siam and wholesale Platinum Fashion Mall (hauling along empty luggage for their loot), Bangkok is a city I visit often.
The public transport system feels familiar and I mentally convert baht to the Singapore dollar with ease.
