The bridge connects Hekou of China's Yunnan

and Lao Cai of Vietnam,

and has a history of over 100 years

The freight trains operate on the meter-gage railway line

that connects Kaiyuan in Yunnan and Haiphong, Vietnam every day

From Dec. 2017 to Jan. 19, 2024, a total of 4,340 freight trains

run between the two cities, transporting 1,717,100 tons of goods
